THE PURPOSE OF THE CAPTURE OF PERSONAL DATA
When you visit our website, no personal data is stored. Only when you register to watch our safety film or when you fill out a contact or application form, personal data is stored and processed. Personal data is also processed when you report to the refinery in person. Zeeland Refinery only records data that is necessary for the purpose of the contact.

SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH OTHERS
Your personal data will only be used internally by Zeeland Refinery for the purpose for which this data was requested. Zeeland Refinery will never pass on your personal data to third parties, unless you have been contacted in advance and you have given explicit permission for this. If the police request personal data, we are obliged to provide it. We must also cooperate if formal supervisors and/or inspection services of the government request access to personal data and this request is based on the law. The same applies if a request for the provision of personal data would otherwise be required by law.
RETENTION PERIOD
If you have only had contact with Zeeland Refinery via the website, your personal data will not be stored. If you send us an application form via the website, this data will be deleted after 8 months. Camera images are automatically deleted after a maximum of 28 days. If you have personally visited the refinery, your personal data will be stored in our access control system. This data will be stored for a maximum of 2 years. We store this data for security reasons and as a service. If you visit the refinery again within two years, you do not have to watch the visitor film again.
USE OF COOKIES
Zeeland Refinery uses only Google Web Analytics cookies on its website. These cookies allow us to compile anonymous statistics for the purpose of improving and managing the sites. The information collected may, for example, indicate the path you followed to access our site, as well as your browsing pattern while surfing the site. These so-called persistent cookies are not deleted when you close your browser. After a period of two years, the cookies expire, unless you visit the same site within this period, which causes these cookies to be reactivated for a period of two years.
